jo and andy were very helpful. they went out of their way to help and were very accommodating. rooms were super clean and i had no issues with sleeping as the beds were so comfy.. breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choices.

breakfast order beach walk no lift stairs problem

this place was great. the breakfast was made to order, i liked that. the location was near the beach to. it was a 2 minute walk, i didn't use a car.

the bar was on site, but i didn't use it. there where no problems with sleeping though. but there was no lift, a small thing to note. the stairs were a bit much sometimes.

A Mixed Experience

iced freezer missing key

The freezer was full of ice. I was told over the phone that I could access the back of the house. A key was not supplied for the security gate though. I found this very disappointing, especially since I needed to store a mobility scooter.

weak shower lukewarm eggs

the shower in my room barely trickled. it made washing my hair a real chore. the television remote was also missing a battery cover. i had to balance the batteries precariously to change channels. the breakfast buffet, while plentiful, had lukewarm eggs each morning, i found that quite unappetizing, and it left me feeling frustrated with the start to my day.

a satisfactory stay

lovely breakfast amazing hosts short walk unstable temperature tired room icy freezer

the breakfast was lovely, and it kept me full all day i got cereals too. the location is a short walk to the beach, it was about 30mins. jo and andy were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble.

I found that the water temperature was not perfect in the shower, it was either too hot or too cold. the room looked quite tired. I noticed many marks on the walls. the freezer was full of ice. It needed defrosting.
